Go-Fund me for Castlebar Social Services

Castlebar Social Services provide a range of services to the town and surrounding areas including Meals on Wheels.  Due to the demand on services that has greatly increased recently, and as fundraising activities have been curtailed, the service has launched a GO-Fund me campaign.  Donations are gratefully accepted. The coronavirus is a particular threat to older people. SeniorLine has put in place a number of protocols to support many older callers from all over Ireland. Any caller, concerned about Covid-19, will receive the most up-to-date guidance as recommended by Government sources. Good health practice is reinforced at all times. Mayo county council have developed an interactive map that aims to connect volunteers with vulnerable and isolated individuals during the Covid-19 crisis, It displays a visual map of all the communities that are giving up their free time to assist with those experiencing difficulties across the county. As part of this process Mayo county council would like to hear from any member of the community and voluntary sector to provide them with contacts, times available to help and their locations.
