A Thank You

Mayo Cancer Support Association sincerely thanks the organisers of the Christmas Jumper Cycle which took place on 30th December 2018 from Rock Rose House. The event was a terrific success. Over 200 people took part on the day and raised an incredible €3,925 (after expenses). We would like to say thank all participants, all the sponsors and anyone who helped out in any way to make it such a fantastic event. Thanks also to the Order of Malta and the photographer who provided great photos of the day. Well done to the winners of the Best Christmas Jumpers prizes, Oisin Tunney & Cathy Carney. Thanks again to all who supported this worthy cause. Even the weather was kind to all on the day.

KNOWING MY MEDICINES A new initiative has been launched at Mayo University Hospital which encourages everyone to keep an up to date list of their medication. This will help you and hospital staff to safely manage medicines if you or a family member needs to come to hospital. This leaflet is available to print on the hospital website or copies are available from the Volunteer or Outpatient registration desks in the hospital.
