Kilmeena  SENIOR CITIZENS CHRISTMAS PARTY will be held in Kilmeena Community on Sunday 15th December at 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Everybody is welcome to this event where we will have a mix of Food, chat and entertainment. This is the third year that the event is being organised by Kilmeena Foroige Club’s third year members and leaders. Looking forward to a great evening!

Anam Cara Mayo the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Parent Evening on Tuesday 17th Dec at 7:20pm in the T. F Royal Hotel. This event is free and open to all bereaved

Half Tochar Walk will take place St Stephen’s Day departing the Ballintubber Abbey after registration at 11am by bus to Aughagower. Pilgrims will then walk back to the Abbey. The 10th Annual St. Stephens Day Family Walk starts from Islaneady The Key West Bar at 2pm On Thurs, Dec 26th. This year the proceeds will go to The Mayo Palliative Care Services Group. They provide a World-Class, Professional, Loving and Person-Centred Specialist Palliative Care to people with life-limiting illness who are approaching the end of life.

Palliative Care aims to meet the physical, practical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and carers facing progressive illness that may limit or shorten their lives and includes bereavement support. Entry is again just €10 per Family, with a Raffle & Refreshments Served Afterwards. Any Donations / Raffle Prizes / Auction Items are again Greatly Appreciated!!
